OUR CALLING
The Church of the Living Monad is a religious community grounded in the perennial truth that all consciousness emanates from a single living source — the Monad. Through the careful, ceremonial use of sacred plant and entheogenic medicines, we offer members a direct path toward communion with this source.
Our work draws on the wisdom of indigenous lineages, mystical Christianity, Hermetic philosophy, and the lived experience of our community. We are not therapists, nor recreational guides — we are stewards of an ancient sacramental tradition reborn for our age.
Legal Notice
The Church of the Living Monad is a legally recognized religious organization. Sacramental ceremonies are conducted under the protections of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA). Participation is reserved for sincere members of the community following a complete intake and discernment process.
THE FOUR SACRAMENTS
Each sacrament is offered within ritual context, with trained facilitation, medical screening, and deep care for set, setting, and integration.
Lumen Unitatis
The non-dual sacrament. A brief, complete dissolution into the ground of being — the white light at the center of the wheel.
Cor Apertum
The opening of the heart. A sacrament of compassion, forgiveness, and reconciliation — for self, beloved, and community.
Vox Terrae
The voice of the earth. Mushroom medicine for inner inquiry, vision, and meeting the ancestors of the soil and stars.
Madre del Bosque
The vine of the soul. A traditional Amazonian brew offered in extended ceremony with song, breath, and the guidance of lineage holders.
PREPARATION
Ceremony begins long before the medicine is taken. Every member walks through a deliberate process of preparation, screening, and intention-setting.
Articulate why you come, what you seek, and what you bring to lay down.
An intake conversation with a facilitator to ensure right fit and right timing.
Review of medications, conditions, and contraindications. Safety is sacred.
Dietary, behavioral, and contemplative practices in the weeks leading up to ceremony.
Group and one-on-one support to weave the experience into daily life.

SUPPORT THE WORK
Your offering funds ceremony scholarships, facilitator training, the upkeep of our sacred space, and the slow, careful work of building a community where this medicine is treated with the reverence it deserves. Every gift is an act of tikkun olam — repair of the world.
STAY IN COMMUNION
Quiet, occasional letters from the sanctuary — new offerings, teachings, and gatherings.
